The roof is made into a chessboard, huh. How long did it take to convert the library roof into something like that? Judging by the plans that you've mentioned, it must have taken a long time.

Hi, Kristopher! Parts of the roof, as it turned out, do have a chessboard pattern. I believe the roof was under construction for a better part of a year - though there was also a lot of planting and other building work going on during that time. So I'm not sure how long the chessboard pattern specifically took.
